1. Eligibility & Account Registration
Our assessments are designed for students in Class 8 to Class 12, as well as parents, guardians, and educational institutions. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or if you are under 18, you have obtained parental/guardian consent to use the services. You further confirm that you are competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
2. Psychometric Test & Reports
Future Directions provides a scientific psychometric assessment that generates stream suitability scores, career cluster recommendations, and a personalised PDF report. The results are based on your responses and are intended for guidance purposes only. We do not guarantee any specific academic or career outcome. Final academic decisions remain your sole responsibility.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, trademarks, logos, psychometric algorithms, questionnaires, reports, text, graphics, user interface, and software on the Site are the exclusive property of Future Directions or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the platform and download your personal PDF report for non-commercial, personal, and educational use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or exploit any part of the platform without prior written consent. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
While using the platform, you agree not to:

- Attempt to manipulate test scores, use automated bots, or tamper with the assessment logic.
- Share, resell, or publish your personalised report without explicit permission.
- Use any data mining, robots, or similar extraction methods to collect user data or content.
- Post any defamatory, obscene, offensive, or unlawful material on any interactive section of the Site.
- Violate any applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Violation of these rules may lead to immediate termination of your account and legal consequences.
5. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is paramount. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and process personal data (including assessment responses). We comply with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. 6. Third-Party Services & Payments
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate payment gateways. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those external sites. Any payment for premium reports or services is processed via secure gateways; we are not liable for any losses arising due to payment failures beyond our control.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount (if any) paid by you for accessing the premium services in the preceding 6 months.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
