At Future Directions, we are committed to delivering high-quality psychometric assessments and career guidance reports. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for payments made towards our services. By purchasing any of our products (including premium reports, school partnerships, or individual assessments), you agree to the terms below.

1. Types of Services & Applicability

Our platform offers both free and paid services:

  • Free Basic Assessment: Students can take the initial assessment and receive a summary report at no cost.
  • Premium Detailed Report: A comprehensive PDF report with stream suitability, career clusters, and market insights is available for a one-time fee.
  • School/Institutional Licenses: Bulk assessments and customized counseling packages.

This Refund Policy applies only to paid transactions processed through our website or authorized partners.

2. Eligibility for Refund

We strive to ensure complete satisfaction. However, due to the digital nature of the assessment report, refunds are granted only in specific cases:

  • Technical Errors: If you are unable to access your purchased report due to a technical fault on our side (e.g., server error, corrupted file) and we cannot resolve it within 7 days.
  • Duplicate Payment: If you are charged more than once for the same transaction due to a payment gateway glitch, we will refund the extra amount.
  • Non-Delivery: If you have not received the download link or email with the report within 48 hours of successful payment and our support team fails to provide it.
Please Note: We do not offer refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction with career recommendations, or if you accidentally purchased the wrong product. The assessment results are based on your responses; we recommend reading sample reports before purchase.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following scenarios:

  • You have already downloaded the PDF report (due to digital product nature).
  • You provided incomplete or inaccurate information during the assessment, leading to unexpected results.
  • You changed your academic or career preference after viewing the report.
  • You failed to meet the minimum system requirements (browser, internet speed) to take the test.
  • Requests submitted beyond 14 days from the date of transaction.
  • Disputes arising from third-party payment gateway issues (e.g., bank decline, insufficient funds) – those are subject to bank policies.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order only before the assessment is attempted. Once you start the test or the report is generated, cancellations are not permitted. To request a pre-assessment cancellation, email us within 2 hours of payment at support@futuredirections.in with your order ID. Cancellation is subject to approval and a 10% processing fee may apply.

5. Refund Process & Timeline

If your refund request is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. The time it takes for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. We will notify you via email once the refund is processed. For failed or disputed refunds, please contact your bank directly.

Processing Time: Refunds are processed only after verification. No cash refunds; all refunds are electronic credits to the original payment source.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Include your full name, registered email address, date of purchase, and reason for the refund request.
  3. Attach any relevant screenshots or payment receipts.
  4. Our customer support team will review your request within 3 business days.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account and permanently disable access to your reports. We encourage you to resolve any issue directly with our support team before taking external action.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
